Berwyn Boutique can be found in the bustling Cermak Plaza, located at the intersection of Harlem Ave and Cermak Rd in Berwyn, IL. As an end store, Boutique is highly visible and accessible to vehicle and foot traffic.
Surrounded by plenty of parking and adjacent to well-known brands, this homegrown project is a prime destination for all browsing, gift ideas, and other retail needs!
More than a Storefront
Berwyn Boutique encourages its vendors to build off the momentum of the Berwyn Shops, or a similar incubator, to grow their businesses in the local market before operating their own stores. Specifically, vendors are given a space, access to business education, and ongoing marketing support.
As with all homegrown projects, Boutique also aims to be a welcoming community space – hosting workshops, inviting special guests, and facilitating networking opportunities.
Learn, Grow, & Take
Open every Tuesday-Sunday, Boutique gives the vendors ample opportunity to interact with customers face-to-face. This dynamic helps the vendors understand the local demand for products, build relationships with new shoppers, and create events for all to enjoy.
As a transitional space, this homegrown project invites entrepreneurs to test out ideas, take the lessons learned, and then apply them to their own stores and future endeavors.

MEET THE VENDORS
Project Homegrown is designed to lower the barriers to entry for entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their businesses into storefronts. Each location provides artisans, pop-up vendors, and talented creators with the resources they need to succeed: physical space, ongoing promotion, tailored education, and networking opportunities.
Whether on Roosevelt Rd or in Cermak Plaza, the 48+ participating vendors are encouraged to test their pricing and products in the local market, garner feedback from customers face-to-face, and host engaging events to expand their audiences. Our goal is that by facilitating shared retail spaces, we cultivate a community of small business owners who share tips, networks, and lessons learned.
